Its fun to be four, especially at Fairytale!
Of course, many parents become anxious during the Pre-K year about their child's preparation for kindergarten. Will my child do well in school? With our program, you need not worry. Just ask our graduates! The activities planned for Pre-k children become more involved and intricate. More complicated puzzles and manipulatives are introduced. Rhyming and other word games are used as well as a concentration on recognizing words that we see regularly in our environment. Children are encouraged to re-tell stories and make up their own. Our Pre-K curriculum not only prepares children well for school, but does it in a concrete, meaningful way. Children learn number skills, sequencing, one to one correspondences, pre-reading / reading skills and many other skills through hands-on activities. Most learning takes place within the context of the program. Our Pre-K children are often seen on neighborhood discovery walks as well as many other frequent fieldtrips. Why not have some fun before going to school???
