School Vacation and Summer Program
For Boys and Girls
Age 4-7 years & 7-14 years

Fairy Tale Children's Center of Boston is offering a unique holiday and summer day program which provides children with opportunities to embark on a pathway of enriching, summer fun. 

Within a nurturing and safe environment, our Center encourages children to participate in a wide range of age appropriate activities.  These experiences allow for meaningful and positive understandings of themselves and their world where friendships are valued.

The Spirit of Our Program revolves around the
following principles:

• Develop and support positive feelings, self-expression and self confidence

• Facilitate creative expression and imaginative endeavors

• Encourage inquisitiveness and natural curiosity

• Develop physical skills and coordination

• Identify and nurture unique patterns of interest and talents

• Establish friendships and the concern and respect for others

Self Expression through Music, Movement,
Drama and Art

The summer day program will feature studios where children will use their fertile imaginations and natural curiosities to create dramas, to express themselves through photography and art, and to listen and move to new sounds.

Through the medium of the arts, children acquire self-confidence and learn how to communicate, negotiate, and problem solve with others while expressing themselves in a fun and creative way.

Some of their activities will include:

Adventures Exploring the Mysteries of the
Greater World:

Children will participate in weekly day trips offering a variety of inviting environments, such as hiking the nature trails of Cat Rock Park, experiencing the sculpture park at the DeCordova Museum, and frolicking on the sandy beaches and splashing in the cool waters of Walden Pond.

Our Staff's expertise

Our staff is carefully chosen to best offer children the experience of a fun and exciting summer program while encouraging creativity, cooperation and respect for oneself and others.

Our many years of experience in summer camp programs provide the basis for our professional educators to understand the complexities of the inner and outer worlds of children.  Our program specialists' skills help awaken the children to the wonders of the great outdoors while, most importantly, allowing everyone to experience success and fun!

Program Schedules

We are offering a variety of schedules to fit your needs.  We have:

• 7:30am - 12:30pm

• 12:30pm - 6:00pm

• 9:00am - 4:00pm

• 7:30am - 6:00pm

Fairy Tale Children's Center provides breakfast, hot lunch and an afternoon snack.

Door-to-Door transportation is also available.

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.  To register, please contact us by calling 617-202-6800 and we will either mail or fax an application to you.
